About Us

Masjid Muhammad-Newark is an Islamic religious institution located in Newark, New Jersey. Formerly known as Temple #25, it was founded in Newark in 1957 as a foundation for Islam in the area. The masjid is home to the Clara Mohammed School-Newark, a K-12 Islamic school focused on imparting knowledge of the Qur'an and Islamic values.

Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for our students, staff and community members. We strive to spread knowledge and understanding of the Islamic faith, while providing a place for individuals seeking spiritual growth.
